Anran Han is a graduate of the MPhil in Traditional East Asia program at the University of Oxford. Drawing on his previous research experience in intermediality at the University of Edinburgh, he is currently working on a project that aims to bring media theory into conversation with the study of late imperial Chinese literary culture, with a particular focus on eighteenth-century theater. His research interests also include the intersection of Chinese literature and philosophy, performance and spectatorship, and digital humanities.
